With the global economy experiencing low growth, governments around the world are putting an enormous emphasis on the promotion of startups and pushing ahead with a variety of support measures in order to create jobs and solve problems related to high unemployment.
In particular, startups by young people are usually technology or knowledge-intensive businesses. Knowing this, Toda Africa is making a lot of efforts to put in place measures to support young entrepreneurs and to nurture them into successful businessmen and women.
This project aims to enhance globalization-related capabilities of young entrepreneurs in Africa. To this end, we plan to invite young business owners and stakeholders so that young entrepreneurs can share their success stories and business knowhow as well as network each other, helping them come up with new ideas for their business.
Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing and communicating new ideas - they can be ideas for starting a new business, a new product, new content, or even just inventive ways of talking about or marketing an existing product or service. Young Entrepreneurs Forum is not just a brain storming session. The forum transcends a mere brainstorming session where people just sit around in a dimly lit room waiting for the next round of snacks, instead, they're pushing themselves to think differently.
The Toda Africa YEF will have a myriad of unique stimulation exercises and brain-storming exercises. It involves an organised, methodical process of getting together and dreaming up new ideas.
